Our Core Value - Inspirational Worship

“To worship is to awaken the conscience by the holiness of God, to feed the mind with the truth of God, to purge the imagination by the beauty of God, to open the heart to the love of God, to devote the will to the purpose of God.”

William Temple

Fellowship and Community

Victory is a large active congregation that is a safe haven for people who are looking for the warmth and love of a caring Christian community. Our staffing and programming goal is to recreate the best features of “family” life. At Victory, we rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.

In addition to our regular pastoral staff, Victory is blessed to have a Health and Wellness ministry, visitation pastors, Stephen's ministry, a caring ministry, and an active prayer ministry and prayer chain.

Victory’s women’s ministry offers a wide variety of options for women to participate in study, service and fellowship within a community of caring women.
Victory offers many regular fellowship opportunities, including weekly Sunday morning breakfast, small group studies for youth and adults, seniors ministry outings and trips to baseball and hockey games.

Victory offers a variety of seasonal events including Vacation Bible School, organ and other concerts throughout the year, a craft fair and a live Nativity Christmas Eve just to name a few.

If you want to be a part of a community where people know your name and they’re always glad you came, Victory is for you.

Service

A healthy congregation does not exist to serve itself, but has keen eyes and ears for the needs and cries of those crushed down by the burdens of the world and those who do not yet know the joy and peace of Christ. Victory is actively involved with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America by supporting domestic and international missionaries, numerous church colleges and seminaries, and renowned caring agencies like Lutheran World Relief and Lutheran Social Ministries.

Victory participates in a Habitat for Humanity coalition, promotes “Missionary for a Day” and works in partnership with our Native American ministries in Rock Point, AZ. Victory supports numerous other mission-oriented ministries including a monthly quilting group, and sewing for children.
